I need some ideas of what to do and when to do volunteer apreciation. We have had several really great volunteers. Any time I call for vision screening, Accelerated Reader, etc.. they come ready to help. I was thinking of maybe a Chrismas Party or something. I hate to wait until end of year to recognize everyone, I'm also hoping if we recognize these parents now, others will want to help out too. One more thing to concider - we are broke!! We are doing our first fundraiser in several years right now. I don't know how much to expect to actually come in, and when it gets in $5,000 goes to a sign for our school.
