I've always been disappointed that our photo deadline for the yearbook is in early March. So many school activities are excluded, and it seems odd to include the prior year's spring photos instead. Of course, the early deadline is determined by the yearbook company. Maybe if you do it yourself, you can extend your photo deadline, get it copied at Kinko's and still distribute it before the school year ends. And since you're a volunteer, the PTO could make money since you don't have to get paid! Good Luck!
We're an elementary school and I would like to do the yearbook next year (this is one committee I haven't done yet). But, I'm big on desktop publishing - does anyone do their yearbook on desktop? Who do you use that you recommend? Our yearbooks always look great but the committee works so hard right up til the last minute cutting and pasting. Any ideas? Thanks.
