After the meeting our board takes turns making thank you cards for those who came. That way they realize that we know that they were there.

Our Hospitality Committee consists of about 40 parents so each meeting about 5 agree to bring some sort of snack and drink. It works out great. They bring muffins and donuts for morning meetings and cookies for nite meetings. They feel they are doing their part and our parents really appreciate it.

A way that we thank the people who make the time to come to are meetings is to provide bottle water and snacks at each table. Are meetings are early evening and sometimes about dinner time for some of our members. So we found that once a month if dinner is a little late they still have something to hold them over.
We are going to try a potluck at one of our meetings to see if that will bring more parents.

I would like to do something warm and inviting for the people who have taken the time to come to the meeting. ex. place settings with name of person and a personal Thank You note for that individual.
This would require a R.S.V.P.

What have others done? and DO you think this is to much?
