Try breakfast...Donuts with Dads, Muffins with Moms. We just had our first Donuts with Dads, and had about 75 dads and 200 kids show up. The dads want to do it more often and the moms are bugging me to plan one for them, hence the Muffins with Moms. We had the librarian pick out books with Dads and Grandpa's in them, put these on a few tables and also some games, lego's and coloring books. The dads were coloring with their kids. It was great.
Last year we held a Father/Daughter & Mother/Son dance. It was also a great success.
