Sorry guys, I had not checked this site for a couple of days, didn't know everyone was waiting!
Here is the poem I received in a little plastic bag with tea bag, tissue, and cotton ball:
Dear Parent
For the next school year, thank you
for entrusting your child to me.
I promise to do my very best every day
to be your child's companion in
learning.
After you have wiped your tears with the tissue,
make yourself a warm cup of tea, put your
feet up and relax.
Hold the cotton ball in your hand
to recall the gentle spirit of your child.
I look forward to working along side
you to help your chld grow.

Would you still happen to have a copy of the poem?
Hi, This year we are doing a "kindergarten Coffee" we were going to call it Kindergarten Cry room but thought we would end up with more crying Kids than parents. We sent out a nice invite, and are serving coffee, bagels, our principal will be there, we will sell t-shirt, the regular stuff, my husband thinks we should have someone take photos of the kids saying goodbye to their parents and should give those to the Kindergarten parents at the coffee.
