We did bumper stickers this year for the very first time. This year we started a new tradition... the first Friday that the kids are back at school in Sept. is School Spirit Day and the PTO gives each student an item (bumper sticker, 2-pocket folder) for the year. This is also the kick off for our sportswear sale and helps get the kids excited about buying a tee-shirt or hat with our school name. We sell the sportswear close to cost as to not strap our parents right from day one. We used a local printer and I must say... I love seeing the bumper stickers when I am driving down the street! We do bumber stickers, every student got one and we supplt the kindergarten each year. We designed it and went to a local printer/promotions company to have the made up. It basically says we are proud of our *** school student.
We just did some bumper stickers for give aways at our PTSO meetings. Our school is the Superstars and we used an online template and they turned out wonderful! They said "Proud Parent of a Superstar / John McLoughlin Elementary. However we did have some parents comment that they would prefer the static cling type. Here is the place we used - very quick and easy to do - and inexpensive:

Thinking about giving away bumperstickers to all PTA members next year. We've never done this before. My child's preschool recently did bumper stickers, but they quickly faded. I don't want that to happen. Does anyone know a good source for stickers? Do you think stickers, static clings or car magnets would be better? Thanks.
