We alternate- one month our meetings are at 9:15am, the next month at 7pm. This was the first year we've done this, our attendance is probably about the same (we get some different people though). It works for us because the entire board was able to make it. I'm sure if next year's board has a time conflict it will go back to evenings only. The principals love the morning meetings because it's one less evening they have to stay in the school.
We have ours 6-7:30 in the evening, once a month so that working parents can come to the meeting. The problem is, they are not coming. Some of us, stay at homers would like to change the time to morning. I have spoken to a few moms that d not attend our evening meetings and have been told that they would attend in the morning. Problem - our President works during the day and is fighting the change.
Anybody out there made the change and if so, has your attendance gone up or down?
