We have a table at our school for pto. This has volunteer sign up sheets with specific dates or at least the month of the activity we would like volunteers for. This way parents know in advance when activities will take place. We also have a table with samples from our fundraiser (candy wrap paper ect.) We video tape our events throughout the year and run the video on the tv next to our table so they know what we are doing. We also sell school apparel with our mascot on them. We designate Wednesday to be spirit day and encourage students and staff to wear the mascot clothing or if they don't have it atleast wear the school colors. Hope this helps.
Our school is holding an info night for potential new families and we plan to have a table set up for the PTO. We want to do something eye catching/fun that will provide info about what we do, fundraising activities, how parents can get involved, etc. Does any one have any ideas or suggestions that have worked for their groups?
