We had a health fair last year. There was cholesterol testing (a charge for this), blood sugar check, no smoking booth that had lungs on display. There was a booth for healthy eating. The free snacks were healthy like carrot sticks, apple slices, bagel, cheese, etc. Dental hygiene was talked about and free toothbrushes passed out. Heart stations, physical fitness tests, BP tests, drawings for door prizes too. This was held after school. Many kids came to check it out.
Has anyone ever had a children's Health and Safety Fair at their school? Our PTA is sponsoring one for the first time this year and I would love any ideas for it.
