Since I have been visiting this board, I feel like I have begun to know a lot of you personally. =)) I wanted to make a suggestions, and many of you may already be using binders, but for anyone who has not begun this program, I highly recommend it.
We have binders for every activity our PTO sponsors. Each binder is divided into important sections. i.e. Description of the event, the chaipersons responsibilities, volunteer opportunities,financial information, examples of letters or applications used, contacts...etc. The binders are so important and we have become dedicated to keeping them up-to-date and current. Every year you may have a new chairperson, and the transition is so much smoother and the chair can focus on planning and implementing, rather than researching.
