Yes, mueller is more east. I couldn't get into stone soup from the link listed.
Here is another way in for anyone else who had a problem. www.stonesoupfundraising.com
There is a website you can go to to request free spaghetti. It was on here somewhere. I got 12 coupons for 5 free bags of spaghetti each. I just can't remember the website. Is there anyone out there that knows it??
Our school held a supper last November. We sent home notices regarding ticket purchases - $5.00 per person, family of 5 - $20.00, and under age 4 free. We received permission from the school for use of the kitchen. You may want to ask around; one of our school families owns a restaurant and donated the pasta, sauce, meatballs and salad. One of our teachers had relatives in the bakery business and donated rolls. We did make take-out an option (we provided containers). We sold limited tickets at the door. By having items donated we saved alot and made over $1500.00. It started out as a "family fun night" a meet and greet other families kind of night. We never expected this kind of response. We had PTO members volunteer in the kitchen and helping our guests carry their plates to their tables. We had Italian music playing in the background and our Student Council kids (grades 4 & 5) volunteered by cleaning tables. We offered dessert - sheet cake (this way no families had to bake - just come and enjoy the night). We went to Costco to order the largest sheet cakes they had. We also scheduled it for a night when there was no school the next day - so families didn't feel rushed to get home and get homework done. Best of luck - it can be lots of fun! Be sure to ask around though you never know who has connections to who or what business.
