I haven't been involved with PTO for a couple of years but still check out the web site occasionally. I noticed the post for thon's and would be glad to provide Mathathon info to anyone who would like to have it. Just add your email address and I'll send it to you. Good luck, this is a fairly easy fundraiser with little expense. The kids seem to enjoy it as well especially, when you offer a prize for the student who collects the most money!
This past year another group at our school did a "Rock-a-thon". I'm not sure exactly how it worked, but students had sponsors & brought their own rocking chair in. I wasn't able to make it, but I hear they had a great time & did pretty well raising money.
