On behalf of Calahan St. Elementary School, I would like to thank you in advance for your support of our mission to improve the lives of our children. Our primary end of year activity is our Sock Hop, scheduled for Friday, June 10th. Our Sock Hops have been very successful for us in the past, thanks to the generous support of businesses, such as yours, our school parents and our hard working students. This year, we are excited to include an auction, dancing, dance instruction, food, raffles, a small game carnival and music. In the past, we have had a larger carnival and other worthwhile activities.
We are asking you to consider donating items/ prizes for our project. Your contributions can be in the form of actual merchandise or gift certificates for products or services. Monetary donations are also welcome. We have enclosed a donation form for your convenience. All donations need to be received by May 31st, 2005 to be included in this year's event. We are a non-profit organization and your donations will be tax exempt. Upon receipt of your donation, you will receive a thank you note with our tax ID number that will serve as your receipt for tax purposes.
