Here in Missouri there is a seminar being put on by the Missouri State Teachers Association called:
The Foundation: "Your School District's Hidden Treasure.
It helps districts meet future financial needs, attract matching dollars and build positive relationships with both the private sector and the community.
Some corporations would rather give to a foundation instead of indivdual schools, even though it is still tax deductible for non-profit organizations.
