We had a school wide sale this past school year that was a bit different than what we have done in the past. In the past, we had people donate there items and we washed, priced, disposed etc. Let me tell you...this was A ton of work!
So this past school year we "rented" gym space to individual families $10.00 per 10X10 spot and they brought there own stuff, priced it sold it and carted it away.
We sold breakfast items and hotdogs for lunch. Didn't make alot of $$$ but it was fun shopping!
One of our local schools does one but I haven't been able to get an specifics about organization, donations, and such. I would love any ideas.
Thanks.
The irony of commitment is that it’s deeply liberating-in work, in play, in love. The act frees you from the tyranny of your internal critic, from the fear that likes to dress itself up and parade around as rational hesitation. To commit is to remove your head as the barrier to your life. --Anne Morris
