23 4th graders at my kid's school will always have a special memory of when teacher went "down the hall" and forgot to shut off the new cordless microphone. Best laugh I've had in a loooong time.
Our school does not have the remote microphones but there are several in the area that have started using them. The local newspaper did an article on the remote microphones and stated that teachers felt that they helped behavior issues because students could hear the teacher better and paid better attention.
To speak to a school directly you might try calling St. Anne's Catholic School in Barrington, Illinois. They were one of the schools mentioned in the article.
At out last meeting, someone suggested we look into purchasing remote microphones and speaker systems for each of our classrooms. Anyone have any experience with these systems or know where I might be able to secure pricing information.
