We have donuts, orange juice, hot chocolate, and coffee. You may want to do a search, maybe with the word "Santa". We've had some extensive discussions on this in the past.
Ours has evolved to be "Holidays Around the World" and now features crafts/activities from different cultures. But we also have Christmas Karoke and pictures with Santa every year.
We just do sausage and biscuts. We started doing this 2 years ago when I was pres. The elementary across the county uses pancakes but I felt that sausage and biscuts would be easier and would be easier on Santa's beard. We do it as a community event and have a lot of little ones. The sausage and biscuts are pretty cheap. We served it with milk juice. We sold hot cocoa and coffee seperately.
I don't remember the brand off hand, but I know there is a pancake mix that will refund your purchase price if used for a fundraiser. They sell it at Costco.
I went to a pancake Easter party at church. They had fruit, pancakes, bacon, scrambled eggs, juice and milk. It was a blast. There were games waiting for the kids as they finished.
Also, we have had parties where Santa handed out a candy cane or a Mc Donald's toy as the kids talk to him. I think once he told a short Christmas story to them as well.
We are beginning to plan a new event for us next year. A Breakfast with Santa, kids crafts and games along with a Secret Shop for kids and raffles. We've never done the "Breakfast"part. Any suggestions would be appreciated!
