I dont see anyone mentioning Phillipsburg- are you affiliated with the company or a PTO that bought shirts.

I find the lack of a triplicate order form very disturbing- If there is only one copy (sheet) of an order form -

  • how would it be a phantom order or an order at all?</font>
  • how would you know cash wasnt given?</font>
  • and someone either at school, PTwhatever or Tshirt company absconded with money?</font>
  • or even received an order form to fill an order???</font>
  • How would you know an order was or wasnt inncorrect or reordered?</font>

PLus you pay in advance but have to make your own copies of the order form....

I just don't want Uncle Jerry's to be put down becouse of parent and or PTO error it's a great fundraiser.

If there's no triplicate of orders (student, PTO and Uncle J's) then all of these things could or might have happened... Dont understand your post

In reference to the Uncle Jerry's fundraiser in Phillipsburg, I think it is a great fundraiser. Uncle Jerry's was at no fault for the missing orders. These were orders never recieved by the pto. If the PTO has no record of the orders, how can they expect Uncle Jerry's to fill phantom orders. Also, as far as I know nothing was reordered for mistaken or missing orders, so again it has nothing to do with Uncle Jerry's.
We did not make as much this year as previous years, but every school, and sports organization was fundraising at the same time. I don't know about other people but I had to share my spending amounts with several fundraisers just in my own home, forget friends and neighbors children. I just don't want Uncle Jerry's to be put down becouse of parent and or PTO error it's a great fundraiser.

We have about 450 students in our school. We didnt make as much as we had hoped. Parents said Tshirts did not go over big when they were trying to sell. There are towels and other novelty items in the catalog though. I will say that one plus is how the orders come back, bagged by student and boxed by teacher which does make handing them out easier.
I just sent all the mistakes back so we will see how they perform on that. Also, they do not provide carbon copy order forms which is not good.

Hi, We have also been considering Uncle Jerry's Tees, but have been risk intolerant about paying for the items prior to their arrival, so haven't done it so far. Can you elaborate on why parents were not happy? How many students and was it a good money maker for you? We are like the previous post in that we are looking for the most bang for our buck and usually make a profit in the neighborhood of $10K for a fundraiser. Thanks!

We just used Uncle Jerrys Ts.
We got a lot of orders that were not correct, or missing items and it is alot of work to get them corrected.
Parents were not crazy about this fundraiser.

Make copies of everything you send them.

Thanks for the replies - I should have mentioned that we are not looking for school spirit wear. We are a very small school - 150 students grades PreK - 6 and we've tried this in the past. It's great, but not a big money maker since we have such a limited audience. The environmental/animal shirts seem to sell really well and people don't have to be affiliated with our school in order to want one.

Ellen - I will send you an email - thanks!
