What about something as simple as a hot dog stand at the local grocery store? Or how about selling mums in the fall or fruit in the winter? Our middle school sells these as grade level fundraisers and they seem to be quite successful. Or maybe XMas wreaths and pointsettias? Just some ideas for smaller scale fundraisers. Good luck!
We do not have fun fundraisers at the middle school. Holiday catalogue and an Easter Candy sale. But... you could try to invlove the students to get them to participate and offer fun incentives. Have an ice cream social for all of the students who hand in orders.(You may even be able to order ice cream cups through the school caf.) Get kids to volunteer to make posters for the F.R. Serve them doughnts and punch while they are working on it, enlist some students to make the PA announcements, If you make enough money hire a DJ and have a dance. We are a middle school PTSA (Students are allowed to join and are considered members just as the adults are) I have found that these students just want to be empowered. Involve them, respect them and treasure their input and they turn it all into fun!. They have so much to offer and often think outside the box, as we adults think we know it all! HA HA. Best Wishes

I am the new president for a middle school PTO that was just started last year. I could really use some ideas on fun things for fundraisers for this age group...things for the kids. The school already does 1 large fundraisers each year as does the band...we don't get any of that $$...we would like small things to get the kids involved in that they could have fun.???? Or things that the PTO could sell to parents, rather than the kids having to sell. I don't know!! HELP!!
