Our fundraiser is also through the NFL. I've worked 2 games so far at Heinz Field. I think it'll be alot more fun once the weather cools down. So far we've average about $900+/game and this is just pre-season. I'd sure like to hear how you all do.
We have just started one similar to this but haven't done any games yet. It looks pretty good but we will be working in Lambeau Field and not the local sports arena. I would make a suggestion to contact your NFL team stadium if you live close enough to one and ask for some information on having your group work in the concession stands. It is best to start the process before the season begins and yes they will train you on what to do. If any one would like more information please email me. We've just started a new fundraiser I thought I'd pass along. Our city's sports team offers their concession stands to various non-profits. We actually go into the stadium, we're assigned a stand for the season and work that stand during all home games. We earn 8% of all sales. We need approximately 15 people per game. We are a small school (100 families) and we've asked each family to volunteer for 2 games. Believe it or not the parents are really excited about this one. The organization is telling us we can make nearly $20,000 or more. It seems a number of schools, athletic/civic associations, etc. have stands here. I had never heard of this before and I thought I'd share. I'll keep you all posted...
