I would like to have a copy of the first letter that you sent home, what a great, easy, fundraiser, that the kids will love!
Thanks!

I organized a jog-a-thon for my kid's school one year and it raised around $4,000.00.
The students promised to run so many laps and we put a value of .50 per lap - so my son promised to run 10 laps and collected $5.00 from each person who wanted to support him. You get the $ up front and the kids are committed to fulfill their promise.

Also, if you want to encourage art in your school, a company called A+ Memories will help raise funds by transforming the kid's artwork into keepsakes. You can visit their website
www.aplusmemories.com or call them direct. They will tailor a program for your school and help
your group raise funds. Pays 40% with year round residual possibilities.
Good luck!!!

JHB posted what I wanted to say (thanks girl!!) but I really want to let you know that our PTO SELLS NOTHING!! We do a lot of the resturant nights mainly to get families to eat together and places like Chick-Fil-A are so easy to work with! The best is how much effort...I handed our flyers! THANK WAS REALLY THE HARDEST PART!

Keep it simple to start, save the big events for when you are more comfortable in this office!

Pie the Teacher and Kiss the Pig are 2 easy ways to get money without putting out any money.

Along the same lines as the scrapbook crop, we rent tables to several types of vendors for $20's a table (6ft long )pampered chef, home interior, avon, tastefully simply, stamping up, creative memories etc. We let them advertise to all their customers and they are use to having to pay rent at bazaars, fairs, etc. All this is strictly profit for you if you have the tables Then you could add a bake sale or sell drinks and hot dogs. Our vendors usually either 1. donate an item for later use (theme basket, silent auction, raffle) or 2. give a % of their sales to the school.
