One fun way to raise money is a Dime-A-Dip-Dinner which is usually held in conjunction with a PTO sponsored talent show. You have one or two easy entrees (say spaghetti and tacos), 2 veggies, 2 salads, 2 kinds of bread, 2 types of dessert and assorted drinks (remember that you are only getting a dime a cup so think "cheap and goes a long way", like KoolAid, Hi-C, iced tea, etc.). You have enough catagories so that every child is able and willing to participate. You have the dinner during the talent show. This is easier, but not as effecient, if you just charge one price at the door (this works for low income areas very well...say $1.50 a person or $6 a family ((don't forget to advertise in heavily populated Senior areas))).
