kate (my 6yr old) came home from the neighbour's yesterday with a "spirit" stick (mom used to be a cheerleader). It was just a long tube (paper towel) decorated with wrapping paper and had rice inside so it made noise (just cover both ends) I don't see why you couldn't do something like that, if you wanted it bigger, you could use a wrapping paper roll, use your school colours, stickers, stars, etc to decorate. can anyone tell me what exactly is a spirit stick? we are having spirit friday where the class with the most will win the spirit stick to have in their class for a week. this was someones elses idea however they failed to inform me what exactly it was i needed to make. i need to have it made for next friday so i am in desparate need of a quik response. thank you so much in advance for any ideas that there may be out there
