Scratch cards are great on paper but what value does the customer have?

We are looking at new fundraising ideas for our fall fundraiser which in the past has been selling wrapping paper, cheese, sausage, candy through Imperial Crown. We have a k-5 school with 800 children. We have earned on average $17,000 with this fundraiser. Our sales/profits have been declining.

Any new ideas? How about scratch card?
