Thank you for the "used toy" response. I re-read my message and noticed that I didn't mention the intention is that parents can buy toys, games, and books for their children to use at home, and the school would be the "Hostess" so they would get the FREE products earned from the purchases. This would be a great time for teachers to suggest areas for the children to work on during the summer then parents could purchase books, games, etc. to strengthen those areas? Maybe.
I spoke to a lot of teachers and they have to buy their own games for indoor recess, and in Ohio we have a lot of indoor recess. So I'm proposing a game raiser. I'm an educational consultant with Discovery Toys and I can send home catalogs with the students. These are all educational toys and all the purchases could go toward new classroom games, toys, and books of the teachers' choices. What do you think of this idea? I need input! Please. I'm pitching it to my PTO this week. If you want more info yourself let me know. Thanks!
