I know this may seem early to start planning, but we're an international school in SA and most of the moms and children come home to the states for the summer. I have to get information to people before they leave. Anyway, we are planning a Welcome Social within the first week of school. Kind of a cross between an open house and a back to school night. It's to welcome and introduce the teachers, board members, parents and students. We will have food, booths and activities for the kids so I need some ideas. Besides a PTO booth what else would be informational? What kind of activities could we do with minimal fuss & supervision? I want this to be where people can mingle without being overwhelmed.
