We let the kid's campaign and the students voted. In order to run you had to pay $10 donation that went to the hurricane victims.

The coronation is based on how much money you raise not on beauty.

Our school doesn't do anything like that. How do you explain to "Daddy's Little Princess" whom he has told over and over that she is the prettiest little girl in the world that she didn't win? The closest we come is a talent show. Even then, we have so many catagories that every child takes home something. I know that pageants are popular in a lot of areas, but I still haven't gotten a little girl named Jon out of my mind yet. :confused:

ELEMENTARY SCHOOL CORONATION was created by MOM OF 2 GIRLS
HAS ANYONE EVER HELD A MR. MISS (NAME OF SCHOOL) PAGEANT. THE SCHOOL DID ONE LAST YEAR AND IT WAS HORRIBLE. I LIKED THE IDEA, BUT NOT THE FORMAT. NEED HELP IF ANYONE CAN HELP ME. THANKS
