I can relate. My oldest came down with strep yesterday so I have had two glorious days of PTO freedom - although I would prefer my dd not be sick. Monday starts the money collection of our catalog sale and I have received 10 calls so far of "problems" that I will face on Monday morning. Add this to the fact that I have family coming in next week, then they leave I have my in laws coming to stay for a week during fall break, all while I'm finishing up the catalog sales and trying to remember where my children need to go on what day etc. Hang in there, remember it's all worth it.
O.K. - I ran/am running the catalog fundraisers at both my kids' elementary and middle schools. (bring out the razor blades - tee hee) and as such have been back and forth to the bank countless times, right? Well, yesterday when I took my son to school he had forgotten his lunch and asked me for $2.00. I almost cried - in the past 2 weeks I have deposited $125,000 in banks, but have been so busy I haven't had time to go to my own bank . . . so I didn't even have $2.00 in my pocket.
(I brought his lunch to the school later in the day, all's well that ends well, thought y'all could commiserate with me!)
