We are a new PTA board this year and thought we would explore our different options. Our school also in the past used the same company. We switched to Reindeer lane this year and were very successful. We sold out of most of the items on the first day of shopping. The only problem that we seemed to encounter the most was the delivery of the replacement inventory. Our inventory for some reason was not shipped like they said it would be which caused us to be out of stock a little longer than what we expected. They did compensate us for our troubles, but if we had the inventory we would have a lot more happier students. Overall the no inventory was wonderful. We did for our own benefit check the inventory when we received it so that we knew what we had, but the shipping back was easy. I hope this helps in your decision making.
Our PTA has used the same holiday gift shop company for a few years and is thinking of switching to Reindeer Lane next year. We'd like to hear the good and the bad. Is there a catch to the "no inventorying"? I checked some back threads but didn't find too much specifically about this company. Thank you!
