By juried what do you mean? I think was there a "team" who helped organize? Yes, we had a group of about 5 who put the whole shindig on.
We had it yesterday Sunday November 20th, in our area in Illinois, most craft shows are held on Sunday.
Each vendor sold there own wares and set there own prices. The only monies we made off vendors was the Booth space and the monies raised from thier donation item.
I like fundraisers were we aren't asking the kids to sell, sell, sell.
If you are looking for an almost easy fundrasier with very little over-head if any, think of hosting a craft fair in your school.
We have now had our second annual craft fair, last year we raised $1500, this year, we raised $2,500 all to go towards our handicapped accessible playground equipment.
We sold booth space for $15 (We had 45 vendors) , aked vendors for a donation of 1 item, asked local merchants for donations of items and food,we raffled the items and sold the donated food.
Craft fairs take alot of leg work and it does take a good team to make it work,We had a small team of 5, but if you know of a few crafters who can help out organizing other vendors, you can have a great success!
We are planning on going for a third year next year!
