I like when companies just send a flier or brochure to the school. I read all of the PTO mail. Our teachers also bring us stuff from there NEA/educational conferences.
The irony of commitment is that it’s deeply liberating-in work, in play, in love. The act frees you from the tyranny of your internal critic, from the fear that likes to dress itself up and parade around as rational hesitation. To commit is to remove your head as the barrier to your life. --Anne Morris
Feel free to call our sales staff at PTO Today. They'd (obviously) be happy to sell you some promotional options, but they're also very good at walking folks like yourself (folks trying to learn how to connect well with parent group leaders) through the basics.
Hi! How do most of you find fundraising opportunities for your organizations?
I have a friend who approached me with starting a company that would provide an educational product that he would like to sell through PTOs & PTAs to help them raise money for their organizations. Neither of us want to do anything that would be irritating or inappropriate (like spamming), so I'm trying to find out what most organizations do to find fundraising opportunities. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
