It depends upon what is being sold and demand.
50 or 80% of something that does not sell has
no value.
10% of a product that has fair value and has
repeat sales produces more income. Wal-Mart
proved that.
The most important question is, is there value
and will the purchaser use the product, if not
you are better asking for a donation.
Merchant Rebate programs offered by all the
major manufactures offer only 3,5 7 % but
people want the products offered and the value
is there,and there is repeat business.
