I would just be worried about getting enough people to come out for the test drive. It is a "no brainer" money for nothing event, but getting the masses to show up is a whole other task.
Will some people who otherwise would not have come show up becuase of the raffle...sure, some will. I would just question if it would be enough. I would sooner just raffle them off and make the most possible amount for these prizes.
We recently held a raffle in December and it only cost us $20 for a raffle liscense for the day. ($10 to the state & $10 to the town) We sent home a flyer about the raffle and attached raffle tickets to it. We did 1 ticket for $1 or 6 tickets for $5. We let the tickets come in for a 2 week period and then the principal drew the winners. We had a great success with this and vast participation. Our prizes were not nearly as nice or a valuable as what you have.
OK, to update this since it got bumped to the bottom of the list. I also recieved 2 day passes to Wild Adventures that I was thinking of using as a second prize. I need ideas for a third prize also. Thanks for any help!
I was thinking of using the Disney tickets that I recived as a way of getting people to come to our Dodge Drive for Kids. Here's the idea:
I have 4 tickets.
They cost the school $0.00.
Dodge Drive for Kids pays $5.00 for each test drive and survey.
Take the tickets and have a free drawing for all those that show up and test drive. That would be like getting $5.00 for a raffle ticket with noone but Dodge putting out any money and if we advetise to the public I think it would be a be draw. Also have it in the church lot which is right on the road. What do you think? What are some of the drawbacks?
