How about PTA Needs You - kinda like the Army posters years ago. With a big HAND pointing out. Or ask, if not YOU, then WHO? Give them statistics on how kids do better when parents get involved. I liked the survey, where it was kinda funny. Like ask them why they dont come to meetings or volunteer: One of the answers could be "I don't know anyone"...then your reply would be, we dont know you either but we'd like to!
And on the form, ask parents what their big talent is? Area of expertise, etc. And then you can match that up with a volunteer coordinator. Like if they are good at scrapbooking...can they help during a craft night? Is a parent a nurse? Can they speak at a health fair?
Hope this helps,

I am interested in improving our membership form sent home in the kid's folders that encourages parents to get involved on the top half and lists sign up info on the bottom half. I need any ideas for jazzing up the wording, etc. to catch the eye of parents that haven't joined efore and increase memberhsip. Also, at the first open house, I'm supposed to set up a table for membership and thought about doing a poster to attract interest. I'd also love any help with that. Thanks in advance!!!
