We have always used a company at cost. For kids with no money we give each teacher coupons that they are to distribute in a "quiet" way to kids that may not have money. One thing we do is supplement the shop with low price items that we get from oriental trading and sell at cost, keeping them all 1.00 or less. You can use a company and just do the coupon thing and that will take care of the profit, just be careful to be able to cover anything that may get taken or broken after your sale starts. You want to break even!
I would like to do a Holiday Shop this year (never had one before). Have any of you ever done this without using a fundraising company? How do you handle children with no money to shop? I have no idea where to start, and I really don't want to do this with a company, since we don't really care about turning a big profit Thanks!
