Do you have the name of the company that you might use? Is it a frame or the front type? I received a "front type" license plate sample that i showed to our youth pastor, who lost it. I would love to try and sell the for the youth department.
They did not go over big in our school - in fact we marked them down to 1.50 (we paid .99 for them) at back to school day - we still have a ton of them. Now (here is the kicker) our school is closing and going to be an early childhood center for the district we are going to give them away at our pancake breakfast next month.
p.s. last year as part of teacher appreciation we gave one to each staff member - only one person actually put them on their vehicle.
Just our story. Maybe they will work better for you.
Just wondering if any of you have ever sold customized license plate frames with your school name as a fundraiser. If so, how much did the frames cost you and what price did you sell them for? Did they sell well?
I know of a private school in the area that sold them several years ago and I have heard they plan on doing this again soon.
I've found some businesses on the Internet that sell customized frames, but most require a minimum order of about 250 frames. Our school has slightly less than 400 students.
Just wondering if you all would consider purchasing something like this if your school's PTO/PTA sold them. I would, but don't know if it would be a popular item with others. We don't really have spirit items at the school other than T-shirts.
I can't find the site right now that I had previously found, but the cost was about $2.50 (after all fees) per frame and I know the school in the area sold theirs for about $6- $7 per frame.
