You can also do McDonald's, Godfather's and CiCi's if you have those nearby. I love doing school nights out because someone else is picking up the mess!
The irony of commitment is that it’s deeply liberating-in work, in play, in love. The act frees you from the tyranny of your internal critic, from the fear that likes to dress itself up and parade around as rational hesitation. To commit is to remove your head as the barrier to your life. --Anne Morris
I love these forums!
Never knew about Chucky Cheese! I will have to look into that!
Our Pizza Hut will do the reading program for us, that's it and the closest Uno is in the "fancy/yuppy" malls.
Thank You!!!
These night out fundraisers are great! Some other places that do them as well are Pizzeria Uno, Pizza Hut, & Chuck E Cheese.
The Chuck E Cheese one is great because the do a couple of things some of the others do not. They give you stickers for all the kids to wear home that day that say "Fundraising Night at Chuck E Cheese tonight ~ Redeem me for tokens". Once the kids get there they can redeem their sticker for 10 tokens. All teachers attending receive a free meal including pizza, soda, & unlimited salad bar.
Plus they give you 200 super student awards that you can use as incentives for whatever you like.
Plus you know that is one night out that the kids are going to beg their parents to take them to.
The one thing I have found with these nights out is that proximity tends to play a part. The closer to home the restaurant is the more turn out you tend to get.
FYI~
We just set-up two school night out, one with Fudruckers and the other with Chik-fil-A (that chicken sandwich place) and both managers are really excited! We also are working with Joe's Crab Shack and Sweet Tomatoes. Domino's Pizza sent us info but we felt a resturant would be better to encourage families to get together!
Each averages a proceeds of 10-20% of your total order to be donated back to the PTO.
One more... has anyone done the Honeybaked Ham fundraisier? A different group I'm a member of is doing that, I have to look at it again but I know I'm selling gift certificates good at the Honeybaked locations.
