We are hosting our first ever "Parents Night Out" We are doing ours from 5-9pm. We are serving dinner & snacks, basketball in gym with the 8th Grade Football Players, face painting and a Make and Take Necklace by the 8th Girls Basketball Players, Board Games and Story Times.
We are charging $10 for the first child and $6 for the second in the same family. If the above raised $345 I hope to double that.
We are using the money to put on a 5th Grade Lock-In for our merging 5th graders going into 6th grade at the middle school. Good Luck!
We did a "Kids Night Out" last year around Christmas time and we made $345.00 in just 3 hours. We charged $5.00 a child. Be careful though I think any more than 3 hours and you might lose the kids attention. We played a movie in our library and had other things to do in our gym. We had a great turn out but have guidlines set up. We had parents RSVP so we could get an estimate on how many to expect but we ended up with parents just showing up. We took the kids anyway but this year we are going to be very strict with our policies. Good luck it is good profit for short amount of time
We are trying to come up with a different fundraiser and we're thinking about a Family Night. We would invite the parents to drop off their kids for 4/5 hours to go to the movies, Xmas shopping etc..Has anybody ever done this and what was the outcome ? Thanks for the help
