Noonsequitur--you're KILLING me--all those great ideas, and you want MORE???
Most of the "fun" houses around here are of the scary sort. One I went to had a pitch black room, with only this rope wound around to guide you from one end to the other (you ran your hand along it, and every now and then would encounter something spiderish, or - ICK--another hand!
I think your ideas are great--how many rooms are you looking to have?
I have a few ideas for a fun house for our fall carnival. I need just a few more ideas. I want to run it through a hall way and divide the hall into "rooms". Plus we can run it in and out of a couple classrooms and even outside and back in. So far I have these ideas.
1 Black light room - have drapes that look cool in black in case no one is wearing something white.
2 Bubble room. Have a small room with a couple bubble makers running - mounted high.
3 Balloon fall room - have a room full of balloons with a few strong fans kicking them around.
4 Strobe light room. Have a false tilted floor with strobe lights going so it's hard to keep your balance.
5 Sleeping pirate room. You have to make it past the sleeping pirate.
6 Maze room - we could connect two rooms from the out side doors with a hay maze. (With volunteers guarding the maze to keep people from jumping in.)
7 Crawling tubes room (or boxes connected)
8 2nd balloon room - super long balloons or doodles hanging closely together from the ceiling.
9 fun house mirrors or mirror maze
I would like a few more ideas. Anyone have something good but not too scary that they've seen?
