Our parish is doing a scrip program to help with a building fund. We've made a lot of money in a fairly short time. Here in So. Indiana, we don't have the national grocery chains that may be included with some of the scrip programs. However, our regional grocery chain does its own scrip program. We keep $5 off of every $100 gift card; that's been a large part of our income. Since they started, other local chains and stores in our area will participate if they are asked individually and see the potential for a loyal following of business. Also, we keep a lot of the frequently used gift cards on hand and only take orders for the less used cards. Having the card in hand helps with sales - especially the grocery cards.

Our scrip orders with Great Lakes have been great. We put our order in online on Monday and have the certificates by Wednesday or Thursday the same week! With little or no backorders.

What about getting the scrip. is there a way to insure that we will get our scrip. A concern from another parent that i am working with. What is scrip turnaround times. Thanks Billislife2002@yahoo.com
