I am also trying to come up with a chinese aution donation request letter for our newly formed softball team. I would fondly appreciate a copy of this type of letter to get me started as I have never put one together for chinese aution type fund raising.

yes, put your tax id number on any correspondence. i used a "cold call" letter, a "past donor" letter, and letters specific to the new prospective donor.

There's lots of good ideas in their archives as well as being shared still today, and the more areas we can share and gather information, the more successful we can all strive to be, with the role of leadership and moderator of meetings and the organization (whether PTA or PTO).
