IN JUNE, OUR SCHOOL HAS A FIELD DAY. WE SET UP STATIONS SO EACH CLASS CAN BE DOING AN EVENT. SOME EVENTS ARE:
1) SAND ART CRAFT ACTIVITY
2) TRASH CAN BASKETBALL
3) PARACHUTE GAMES
4) BEAN BAG TOSS
HOPE THIS IS HELPFUL
A handy face painting tip you may want to try is to use stampers with a washable ink stamp pad and then fill in the design with gel pens. The colors are bright, it turns out nearly perfect, and is super-easy!
Another game we have used: fill plastic containers with duck-pond type prizes from catalogs (very inexpensive) and let the child throw a bean bag or ball, if it lands in a container, they get that prize.
We just had our fun fair this past Friday night. What a great success. We have 20 different stations along with food and a clown. Face painting is also our most popular. Some of the games we have are:
1.CD throw
2.Hockey
3.Basketball
4.Cake Walk
5.Pick a pencil
6.Bean bag toss
7.Tattoos
8.Fishing game
9.Walk the plank
We had a meeting to get some ideas. Then everyone took the ideas and made games.

Hi Sally..
Instead of Games might you consider small inexpensive crafts instead? With some inexpensive items you can buy in bulk you can make some really creative things these days. We do this also at our family fun nights.. we also have face painting that we offer for 50 cents.. it draws a HUGE line and some of our novice face painters have gotten pretty darn good over the last couple of months.. Good luck to you!

OUR FAMILY FUN NIGHT HAS TURNED INTO A MAJOR FUNDRAISER, MUCH TO OUR DISMAY. WE ARE A SMALL SCHOOL OF 400 STUDENTS ABOUT HALF OF WHICH ARE SINGLE PARENT FAMILIES AND/OR LEARNING OUR LANGUAGE AND CUSTOMS. WE NEED GAME IDEAS THAT ARE EASY AND INEXPENSIVE TO MAKE BUT OF COURSE FUN. ANY HELP WILL BE APPRECIATED.
