Oh yeah.. I forgot to post that Pizza Hut gives you 20% of sales back to you. So if you have 100 pizzas sold.... it's not too shabby. I have also found that some cruise ships, like a dinner cruise may donate some tickets. We used ours to raffle off to parents and teachers and was a big hit!
Our PTO is currently doing the Pizza Hut fundraiser. It is great especially if you have no funds. Also, we are doing a school dance with all the decorations donated for the night and food donated by papa johns. Also, you can have people donate items for a basket to "raffle" off. We started with 0 funds and now up to 2,000 and still going.
You didnt list where you are in the country, but here in Memphis we did a gift catalog followed by a cookie dough sale. We used Kathryn Beich for both and were very pleased. They billed us after the sale was over, so no up front cost to us. Very nice company. I think they are nation wide. Their website is: www.kathrynbeich.com
I am thinking Appleby's may do something to support schools also. Chic Fil A also has a family night. Our closest mall used to do a cash thing with receipts. If you aren't around any of these business perhaps you can recruit one of your local businesses to devote a night to you.
I am curious to know Michelle H. Have you and hubby come up with anything?
If you're starting from scratch with essentially no funds... We like Old Country Buffet Night and Pizza Hut NIght. They are "no brainers". Families dine out and the school gets money from it. We have also just begun recycling ink cartridges through Kash for Kids at www.ckarecycleaid.com
and the turn around time is astounding and that is also at absolutely no cost to you..totally free money! Who's not for that?!?
I run a fundraising online auction site. All your school would need is a computer, camera, and a giving community. We provide templates for flyers in English and Spanish. The only startup cost is a 50.00 fee for using our website and a percentage of what you sell online. If you're interested email me at This email address is being protected from spambots.
