Wow you guys are high tech. We used calendar creator plus with a card stock for the front sheet and xeroxed and bound them ourselves. All the costs were donated by one of our business families and we sold advertising space to make money. Actually brought in about 600 dollars in advertising.
we did somtihting similar for teacher appreication... check out shutterfly.com not useful for fundraiser maybe beaucse of cost, but gets the job done easily and quickly if fundraising is not the goal, but jst a present / class souvenir for the teacher.
we did a calendar as well. We only did 1 picture of the students on the inside cover. We used IKON document services. Check to see if you have one in your area. They are really reasonable. They only charged us $4/per calendar and we sold for $8.00.
We are also doing calendars for the first time. We're having them printed and they'll be purse-sized. It won't have pictures, but it will have every PTA and school event preprinted on it. We have 400 students and are ordering 150 for this first time. We aren't taking pre-orders so when they're gone, they're gone. We don't want to be stuck with any. We're hoping to get them for $4 or $5 and sell them for $8. If an event date changes, we are planning on having stickers available in the office so they can change the date on their calendar. Hope this helps!
I'm the chair of this committee---never done this before...I need some pointers on where to start..
I would like to include all activities for the school year..HELP!
Wal-Mart has a calander that they do but its $20 per calander. WAY TOO MUCH!! But it gave me the idea of doing it ourselves and possible saving money that way. I hadn't thought about B&W pics but I LOVE THAT. And that would be cheaper.
