Around $350 to $450.00 in postage, envelopes and letterhead. But if you could start early enough and get a non-profit rate from the post office (unfortunately we did not)you could drop your postage big time. Hope this helps and good luck to everyone.

WHEW! Ok here goes
I have received ton's and ton's of email asking for our donation letters and copies of the donation list, asking why I sent to different people etc. etc. so I thought I could answer here and save alot of time.

1. I sent a letter to almost everyone in the celebrity book. Why Dr. Kerkorian? Why some of the questionable people? The way I figured it was when I recieved something from any person that was in question these items where put up for bids on ebay. The money went to OUR children.Period.

2. The donation letter that we put together was basically coming right out and asking for what we wanted. If I wanted a designer dress I ask for it, if I wanted tickets to a concert or a show I ask for it. I know this sounds harsh but hey if you don't ask for what you want you will get something that you really don't want. All they can say is no and very few people said no. I believe that you can also beat a horse just so long.... so I don't advise asking for donations more then once a year. Like the American Girl doll, it is a once in a lifetime per organzation. You will only get it once and that's it. So your letterhead in a stand out here I am fashion. We personally signed each and every letter with a personal note on it. Let's face it if you got a copies letter with a copied signature what would you do with it? We explained what we would be using the money for along with information about of school (size, etc.)You must use your imagination.

3. You need to start at the very least 5 months ahead of time or you will NOT receive most of this stuff in time. Be prepared for rejections too.

4. I am glad to help in anyway I can but I'll tell you I have took a bashing over this by several people so my suggestion is this... If you don't like the list don't use it! I don't get on here sometimes for a whole week so I do try and answer when I can so just bare with me and I will answer.
