Sorry, Big D, I don't have any insight on the car contract. In fact, I'm chairing our schools first annual car raffle this spring. Any tips that you or anyone can offer to make this event more successful and/or less stressful?
We're working with a local dealer for the vehicle, but I'm "winging" it on the best way to
coordinate and promote the sale of tickets.
We raffle off a new car at our annual fundraiser, selling up to 1000 $100 tickets, with $40K to the dealership and the rest to the school. We've never put anything in writing with the car dealer regarding things like who pays tax, title, license, what happens if the winner wants to upgrade the car, etc.
Can anyone provide a copy of their contract between a car dealership and the school to provide a new car for a raffle?
