That sounds good. I would probably look into that if we were a 501(c)(3) but with trust issues.
A few years ago we did the receipt thing and after years of counting and saving receipts and being cents away from the goal they cancelled. I heard it through the grapevine and I contacted them and they informed me that the program had stopped a year before. We did not receive any notification. It was hard work because we had to keep up and total the receipts. The outcome was only going to be $500 (that was $500 we didn't have) So has this new program worked flawlessly for you guys? How much does your group have to do?
I'll second that. We have only about 60 families participating so far, and we've already earned over $3,300 since September. It's very easy money. Our biggest challenge is getting people to understand how the program works (it's really easy but for some reason hard to explain), but once they do, they get on board. Definately check it out if you're in the area. Must be a 501c3, though.
HI Everyone,
I have taken so many good ideas from this board that I wanted to share something that has worked for us. We are in Michigan and Kroger is one of our major grocery stores.
Their Kroger cares program has given us $4839.00 so far this school year. You purchase re loadable cards from them and your familys pay for their groceries with the cards.

Everyone grocery shops right? Why not get back 5%?
