We usually hold four of these a year - so far we've raised about $1,600 and have one more restaurant night to hold in May. We are about a 40% free and reduced school and have about 550 students total, if that matters. We hold these because they're promoted as family nights. They're very popular and the kids LOVE seeing one another outside of the classroom. We usually stick local, but we do use McDonald's. Anywhere from 15-20% of their sales usually. We like the ones that we can promote at school but that don't require the families to bring a flyer to the restaurant to get the discount. We've been pretty successful. It's little expense for a decent return and great fellowship!
We are putting together our fundraiser plan for next year and was looking into some restaurant fundraisers like Chipotle's or having the Jamba Juice bar at our fall event. Generally, how much have you made from these events and do you know if there is a comprehensive list of stores, restaurants that provide a percentage of proceeds to your organization?
