A good flow rate is to rotate 15 students every 20 minutes. This equates to just under 50 students per hour. Unfortunately because of the limitations, the lines will be unavoidable, but the good news is you're rotating them through in bunches. Also, you'll want to keep the number of students inside the gaming area to a minimum otherwise it starts to become chaotic. Therefore allowing more students in than there are video consoles is probably not a good idea. Hope that helps.
We're having a mobile Video Game Truck for the first time at our elementary school fall festival, and I have no idea how to price or manage it.
I was thinking we could possibly charge 8 tickets and rotate out the whole group every 10 minutes, but the video truck owner said they have tried timed play but kids like to try different games, etc. She says for the most part kids are respectful and take turns, but I'm not so sure
Has anyone else had a video truck? What worked for you?
