Hi! Our PTO had a 5k & Kid's Fun Run back in March. We applied for the grant in February and didn't receive it until after the event in April. We just told them that we needed the money for the 5k so that we could use the profits to update technology in our school. I stressed the fact that our school was small and in need of the updated technology several times Even though it was late, we are very glad they sent it!
